About Us

We are located in Pueblo West, Colorado and opened for business 9/01/2022. We started raising hornworms for "treats" for our Veiled Chameleons and soon mastered the art of raising healthy, gut loaded tobacco hornworms (Manduca Sexta) to treat the chameleons. After a few failed attempts, we devised a system to produce quality hornworms in large volumes. The process is growing the worms to adult size and when they stop eating and start wandering around you will see a blood line running up their back. That is when the hornworms are wanting to dig in soil to make cocoons. After 7-10 days we dig up the cocoons and put them in the moth enclosure. Within a couple of weeks the cocoons hatch into Manduca Moths and the females start laying eggs. We collect the eggs daily and after 4-5 days they start hatching into hornworm larvae. We gut load the larvae with "Superhorn" and in just a couple of weeks they are ready to feed to the chameleons. We decided to make healthy hornworms available to our customers at an affordable price to "treat" their reptiles and amphibians.
